Message from the Nottinghamshire Committee Chair

Dear All,
Nick and I have been getting a lot of e-mails and messages via social media, asking when Squash Clubs are likely to re-open again. At the moment following the governments guidelines is paramount and they haven't given any indication of when sports clubs and Gyms etc, will be allowed to open their doors and to what extent.
Please remain patient with your clubs and continue to support them and your fellow members where possible.
The communication between the Squash community on social media has been fantastic, Nick and I feel so proud to be Co-Chairman of Notts Squash, especially when we see so many of you posting your lockdown workouts and activities to keep you and your families safe, fit and healthy.
We have been keeping in touch with England Squash for any updates, especially for procedures going back after lockdown and what they may look like. We will keep you updated should we gain any further information. Today we have received this link that maybe be of use to your clubs for funding from Sport England. https://www.sportengland.org/how-we-can-help/coronavirus/coronavirus-funding-and-flexibility please act fast as this will not be open for long though.
